Known online as The Apple Girl, Kait Thornton is a fourth-generation orchardist and ag advocate from Tonasket, Washington. Raised on her family’s apple and pear orchard, she’s made it her mission to connect people to the real stories behind their food.
After earning a marketing degree from Washington State University, Kait returned home, blending tradition with innovation to help shape the future of ag. Whether she’s filming harvest season for her 500,000+ followers, packing up Kait’s Crates to ship across the country, or speaking to students about careers in agriculture, Kaitlyn is all in on telling the truth about farm life—and why it matters.
She’s been featured by The Packer, The Chronicle of Higher Ed, and the Washington Apple Commission, but her favorite titles will always be daughter, sister, and orchardist.
