Introducing: Schools Of The West

At Of The West, we’ve always been passionate about connecting people with opportunities in agriculture and the western industries. This is why we’re excited to announce the creation of Schools Of The West—an innovative, online directory designed to connect people with educational opportunities in the agriculture and western industries. Schools Of The West will be launching to the public in multiple phases, beginning in March 2025. 

As a sister platform to Of The West, we’ve been called to create Schools Of The West with the same mission in mind: to support the future of agriculture and the western way of life. Through this new directory, users will be able to search for, and connect with, agriculture and western-industry-specific two-year and four-year institutions, master’s, graduate, and doctoral programs, as well as trade schools, certification programs, and continuing education opportunities.

Who Can Use It?

Schools Of The West will serve a diverse audience, from high school students and recent graduates exploring career paths in agriculture, to those looking to make a career change that may require some form of additional education or certification. We are also focused on serving parents, secondary educators, and counselors who are looking to support students in choosing the right educational path. 

In Phase 2 of the platform’s launch, we’ll be focusing on providing resources for those looking to explore continuing education courses like industry-specific certifications, workshops, seminars, conferences, and professional development events. 

How Will it Work? 

Each institution listed in Schools Of The West will have a detailed profile that provides everything you need to know, including the institution’s location, programs offered/fields of study, length of programs, admission requirements, and tuition and financial aid information. There will also be a specific areas dedicated to industry-specific organizations or extracurricular activities. With these profiles, users will easily compare schools and programs to find the best match for their interests and career goals.

Our directory will offer a range of filters to help users find exactly what they’re looking for, including all of those aforementioned areas (school or trade type, location, degree type, field of study, as well as industry-specific clubs, organizations, extracurricular activity(s), etc.).

How Will Educational Programs Benefit?

Creating a profile on Schools Of The West opens the door for colleges, universities, trades, and continuing education programs to connect with a targeted audience eager to engage in agriculture and the western industries. Our goal is to streamline the search for students and support schools in recruiting the talent they need to shape the future of the industry. It will make it easier for institutions to promote their programs, reach a wider audience, and attract the right candidates. By providing a centralized hub, we’re helping schools grow their enrollment, strengthen their programs, and ensure the future of ag and western industries is in capable hands. 

As we continue to build out this platform ahead of our March 2025 launch, we are more excited than ever about the impact Schools Of The West will have on the future of agriculture and the western industries.
