Emily Konkel didn’t grow up in the reined cow horse world—but she’s helping lead it into the future. As Executive Director of the National Reined Cow Horse Association, Emily brings fresh perspective, strong leadership, and a deep love for the western industry to one of the most dynamic associations in the sport.
What started as a childhood love of horses in Michigan turned into a career built from the ground up. Emily’s path includes everything from mucking stalls to managing teams, giving her a 360° view of what it takes to grow a sport without losing the soul of it.
Today, she’s helping the NRCHA break records, build partnerships, and reach new audiences—while staying rooted in the grit and tradition that make this sport so special.
