ABOUT
SCHOOLS OF THE WEST
If you’re heading to Abilene for the Texas High School Finals Rodeo, make sure to mark your calendar for a special opportunity happening alongside the action in the arena–the first-ever Quanta Trade School and College Fair. On Sunday, June 8th, the Quanta Trade School & College Fair will take place at the Taylor County Expo Center. It’s open for everyone to attend!
Whether you’re a high school rodeo competitor, a family member, or a local rodeo fan, you’re invited to explore what’s next. This event is designed to connect students with schools, programs, and industry paths. These paths can shape their futures. It is especially focused on those in trades and agriculture-related careers.
The goal of this fair is simple: to introduce young people to the variety of options available to them. Options include trade schools and colleges, as well as career programs they might not even know exist yet. Colleges, trade programs, and companies both in and out of the agriculture and western way of life will be present. They aim to help students connect with what could be next in their careers. If you are a high school student starting to think about your next step, or a parent looking to help your student make informed decisions, this event is THE place to be!
From hands-on trades to agriculture education and beyond, this is your chance to learn, ask questions, and discover what’s possible, all in one place.
So, in between watching the best high school rodeo athletes in the state compete, stop by the Quanta Trade School and College Fair. Get inspired about what’s ahead.
We can’t wait to see you all in Abilene, Texas!
Looking for more student-focused career resources? We’ve got them right here!
