As the youngest of three siblings on a farm, Chandler was placed in the agriculture community at a young age. Through his cattle projects and involvement in sports, Chandler found a desire to solve real-world problems, while focusing his passion for serving others through extending knowledge by developing individuals and communities. Upon graduation from Auburn University with a bachelor’s in agriculture communication, Chandler began working in Ghana and Uganda for two years as an extension agent, promoting youth development through involvement in 4-H and sound farming practices.  After returning to the United States, Chandler completed his Master of Science in Agricultural Education from the University of Georgia before relocating to the University of Florida, working as an extension agent for two years. Now, as the Director of Grassroots Advocacy and Spokesperson Development for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), Chandler works to empower beef community members to be more engaged in sharing their story, while developing key spokespeople who can confidently represent the beef industry on social media, in everyday conversations, or in-front of a camera.
