After Graduating Alvin Highschool in 2010, he served 4 years in the United states army. Once he came home, he attended Alvin Community College and then Texas Tech University where he received a bachelors in Agriculture. Tyler spent a short time as an Agriculture Science teacher at Alvin High School before going to run a non-profit farm training fellow veterans to be farmers. Today he proudly helps run his family farm, Frobergs Farm, alongside his uncle Alfred Froberg.
