ABOUT
SCHOOLS OF THE WEST
You’ve heard this before, but it is worth mentioning again that candidates are interviewing companies just as much as companies are interviewing candidates during a job interview. That’s why you want to take advantage of the moment towards the end of your interview when the interviewer (usually) asks, “What questions do you have for me?” By asking your questions it shows you are genuinely interested in the position and working for the company. It also allows you to gain valuable insight into the company culture, team dynamics, and expectations, helping you assess if the organization aligns with your values and career goals. You’ll also leave a positive impression on the interviewer, which is never a bad thing!
There are ten questions below that you can choose from to begin implementing into your next job interview, but you can also use these as a foundation and create some unique questions of your own! Something to remember is don’t ask questions where the answers can easily be found. Make sure you are doing your research on the company before the interview, not only to learn about the company but also to answer some of those easier questions.
Now that you’ve got your interview questions covered, make sure you’re covering all your interview bases by reading our blog post How to Ace Your Interview, here! And if you’re still searching for that perfect job to use these interview skills, create your FREE Job Seeker profile and start finding it on Of The West, today!
