Of The West is proud to announce the launch of its new career development program, Next Era of Ag. The Next Era of Ag is aimed at young adults, who are pursuing a career in an agriculture or western industry. The program is designed to help young adults gain clarity as they transition into their desired careers, and promote the importance of agriculture and western industry jobs. Individuals enrolled in the program will gain more awareness of opportunities in the industry. They will also improve their personal leadership skills, and gain a stronger network within the agriculture and western industries.
Of The West developed this program in an effort to encourage the growth of the agriculture and western industries. In order for our industries to thrive, we must cultivate and encourage the next generation of leaders.
The program includes monthly webinars, led by Of The West’s Jessie Jarvis and Sarah Wilson, along with various guest experts. It will also include various networking and one-on-one opportunities. The Spring 2023 class will run from January-May.
Next Era of Ag Application Details
The Next Era of Ag Program application period is open from December 29, 2022 – January 15, 2023. Individuals must be between 20-30 years old, to apply. This is not a job, it is an unpaid, career development opportunity. If you are interested in applying, you can do so here.
