We are so excited to be hosting our annual webinar, ‘Navigating Your Next Step’ again this fall! This webinar is geared towards those getting ready to enter the workforce or graduate college.

Craig Mello

Craig is the Recruiting Manager and Corporate Risk Manager of Agri Beef Co. headquartered in Boise, Idaho, and has been with the company for 23 years. Craig leads the company’s sustainability and corporate communications efforts. His responsibilities also include the development and enhancement of Agri Beef Co. risk management services, including risk management process improvement, tools, leading practices, risk transfer & risk mitigation and training. 

He is an experienced recruiter with over 11 years of success in creating executive search strategies and executing talent acquisition plans. Craig has a passion for providing meaningful insights and uncovering ideal candidates. Not only is he a talented recruiter with the drive and expertise to execute successful recruitment strategies but he also has a proven ability to develop helpful relationships with external customers and stakeholders. Overall, he is a passionate and driven recruiter with a strong background in talent acquisition and engagement, known for his hands-on approach and commitment to client service. 

Since being at Agri Beef, Craig has created the Agri Beef Co. ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) program and works closely with the executive team and board of directors to make well-informed business decisions about risk.  He is newly responsible for establishing the enterprise-wide regulatory compliance program, and he also leads Agri Beef Co.’s business continuity management, emergency preparedness, crisis management, occupational health, safety, quality management programs (ISO 22000,9000 and  14000), and environmental activities.  

Craig received his B.A. in Economics from Arizona State University. He is a member of several professional and community organizations including; the National Cattlemen’s Beef  Association Chair Sustainability External Advisory Group, Member of the US Roundtable for  Sustainable Beef, Idaho, Washington, Kansas Cattlemen’s Association and Idaho Industrial Commission Advisory Board. 

Jessie Jarvis

Jessie was born and raised on her family’s cattle ranch in Southern Idaho, which at an early age, instilled in her the importance of a strong work ethic, and a deep appreciation for the American West.

In addition to her lifelong involvement raising cattle, Jessie has had over a decade’s worth of experience in print and digital media, both writing for and producing various agriculture and western fashion publications, as well as freelancing in ag and western communications.

As someone who has been on all sides of the spectrum—as a job seeker, a business owner, someone looking for various service providers, and as a freelancer—Jessie deeply understands the obstacles one must navigate when job hunting or looking to hire for employment or project purposes in the west.

Jessie’s proudest accomplishment(s) in life is that of her family—her husband Justin, her son, Jhett, and baby girl, Jaxyn.
